We love celebrating the gift of children! Child Dedication is a special moment where parents publicly thank God for their child and commit to raising them to know and follow Jesus, while the church family promises to support them along the way.

 What Is a Child Dedication?
Child Dedication is:

1.  A commitment from parents to raise their child in a Christ-centered home.
2. A prayer of blessing over the child and the family.
3.  A promise from the church to walk alongside your family in love, encouragement, and support.
   
   

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” — Psalm 127:3 (NLT)

 What Happens During the Service?
During a Sunday morning gathering:
1. Parents and children will be invited to come to the front.
2. A pastor will briefly explain the meaning of Child Dedication.
3. Parents will be asked to affirm simple statements of commitment:
That they recognize their child as a gift from God.
That they desire to raise their child to know and follow Jesus.
That they will do their best, with God’s help, to model a Christ-like life at home.
4. The pastor will pray over your child and your family.
5. Our church family will be invited to commit to supporting and encouraging you.

The dedication moment is usually just a few minutes long, but it marks a powerful and meaningful step in your family’s spiritual journey.

 Who Is Child Dedication For?

1. Child Dedication is available for:
2.  Infants and young children
3.  Parents or legal guardians who desire to:
   Follow Jesus themselves
   Intentionally raise their child in a Christ-centered way
   Partner with the local church in that journey
