The National Day of Prayer is a tradition first proclaimed by the Continental Congress in 1775 and in 1988 legislation was ratified making the first Thursday of every May a day for prayer and day to acknowledge our blessings. Plan to attend this special prayer event being held on Thursday, May 4 at 6:30pm at Friendship Park at 150 Oklahoma Avenue in Gahanna. Urging all Gahanna residents to attend and join in praying for our nation, state and leadership at every level.
