Pray:

Action:
Write the names of five people you'll pray will meet Jesus this month.
Sample Prayer:
Father, search me and know me. Shine Your light into my thoughts, motives, and habits; expose what grieves Your Spirit and lead me to repent quickly. Create in me a soft heart, a willing spirit, and fresh delight in Your Word. Prepare me to intercede this month with faith and perseverance. Start Your work in me so You can work through me. In Jesus' name, amen.
Sunday, November 2 - Clean Heart
Scripture: Psalm 51:10-12 (NLT)
Pray:
- Fresh joy of salvation
- Willing spirit to obey
- Sensitivity to the Spirit during worship
Action:
Share one takeaway from church with someone.
Sample Prayer:
Holy God, create in me a clean heart and renew a loyal spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and make me eager to obey. Wash away shame and self-reliance; fill me with the Holy Spirit's freedom. As we worship today, open ears, soften hearts, and exalt Jesus. Make Your joy my strength. Amen.
Monday, November 3 - Burden for the Lost
Scripture: Romans 10:1 (NLT)
Pray:
- Give me Paul's burden
- Save the five on my list
- Open doors for gospel conversations
Action:
Text one person: "I'm praying for you-anything specific?"
Sample Prayer:
Lord, give me Paul's longing for those far from You. Place a holy ache in my chest for the five on my list; draw them by Your kindness, convict them by truth, and woo them by Your love. Give me tears and boldness, patience and hope, and chances to listen well. Let my prayers rise like incense and not grow weary. Save them, Lord. Amen.
Tuesday, November 4 - Boldness to Speak
Scripture: Acts 4:29-31 (NLT)
Pray:
- Boldness with gentleness
- Spirit-filled words
- Courage for staff/elders to lead in evangelism
Action:
Invite someone to coffee this week.
Sample Prayer:
Sovereign Lord, consider the fears and barriers around me and grant me great boldness to speak about Jesus with gentleness and respect. Stretch out Your hand to heal and confirm Your Word with power. Fill our pastors, elders, and leaders with Spirit-given courage and clarity. Open wide a door for the message. Make me brave today. In Jesus' name, amen.
Wednesday, November 5 - Clarity of the Gospel
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (NLT)
Pray:
- Clear words, not churchy jargon
- Conviction of sin and hope in Christ
- No distractions from the enemy
Action:
Write a three-sentence gospel summary you could share.
Sample Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for dying for our sins, being buried, and rising again. Help me share this good news simply and clearly-no jargon, no fog-just Your truth in love. Remove the blinders of the enemy and the clutter of distractions. Let Your cross be beautiful and compelling to those I'm praying for. May many receive and stand firm in the gospel. Amen.
Thursdayrsday, November 6 - Laborers in the Harvest
Scripture: Matthew 9:36-38 (NLT)
Pray:
- Raise up workers from Discovery
- Call students and adults into mission
- Anoint outreach ministries (Re:Gen, groups, kids/students)
Action:
Ask God if you should serve in one outreach role.
Sample Prayer:
Lord of the harvest, our city is full of sheep without a shepherd. Raise up workers from Discovery-students, adults, families-who see people as You do. Call laborers into kids, students, Re:Gen, groups, and local mission. Send us where the need is greatest and the doors are open. Make our church a sending church. Amen.
Thursday, November 7 - Kindness Leading to Repentance
Scripture: Romans 2:4 (NLT)
Pray:
- Encounters with God's kindness for those on my list
- Repentance without shame
- Testimonies in Sunday services
Action:
Do one unexpected act of kindness for someone far from God.
Sample Prayer:
Father, overwhelm the people on my heart with Your kindness today-in providence, people, and peace that cannot be explained. Let Your goodness disarm defensiveness and lead to sincere repentance. Replace shame with sonship, fear with faith, and bondage with freedom. Write testimonies we'll tell on Sundays. Your kindness is better than life. Amen.
Saturday, November 8 - Seeds & Soil
Scripture: Mark 4:1-20 (NLT)
Pray:
- Good soil in hearts
- Protection from the enemy, shallow roots, and thorns
- Abundant fruit that lasts
Action:
Deliver a small blessing (note, meal, gift card) to a neighbor.
Sample Prayer:
Sower of the seed, make my heart good soil-deep, receptive, un-distracted. Protect the seed from the devil's theft, shallow roots, and choking thorns. Send rain of Your Spirit and sun of Your presence. Let the Word take root and bear thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold fruit. Keep us patient and hopeful as we wait. Amen.
Sunday, November 9 - Draw Them, Lord

Pray:
- Father, draw many today
- Anoint preaching and worship
- Give courage to respond
Action:
Personally invite someone to next Sunday.
Sample Prayer:
Father, no one comes unless You draw them-so draw many today. Anoint the preaching, purify our worship, and give courage to respond. Silence lies, lift burdens, and awaken the spiritually sleepy. Save, heal, and restore in our gathering. We ask in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
Monday, November 10 - One Body, Many Parts

- Every member working properly
- Unity across generations and ministries
Action:
Encourage a volunteer or ministry leader by name.
Sample Prayer:
Jesus, Head of the church, help us grow up into You. Knit us together in love so every part does its work-no spectators, no sideliners. Heal disunity, strengthen the weary, and help us speak the truth in love. Build Discovery into a healthy, radiant body that reflects Your heart to our city. Amen.
Tuesday, November 11 - Wisdom for Leaders
Scripture: James 1:5; Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
Pray:
- Wisdom for elders and staff
- Discernment for decisions and budgets
- Protection from burnout
Action:
Put a leader on your daily prayer list.
Sample Prayer:
Generous God, give our elders and staff wisdom from above-pure, peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy. Guide decisions, budgets, and timelines; close wrong doors and spotlight right ones. Guard hearts from exhaustion and cynicism; renew first love. We trust You with all our hearts-direct our paths. Amen.
Wednesday, November 12 - Healthy Doctrine, Warm Hearts

- Love from a pure heart
- Growth in grace and truth
Action:
Read one chapter from a Gospel today.
Sample Prayer:
Lord, anchor us in sound teaching that produces love from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith. Keep us from cold correctness and from sloppy sentimentality; give us grace and truth together. Shape our minds by Scripture and our lives by the Spirit. Make orthodoxy overflow into orthopraxy. Amen.
Thursday, November 13 - Hospitality & Welcome
Scripture: Romans 15:7; Hebrews 13:2 (NLT)

- A welcoming culture
- Newcomers find home
- Barriers (fear, past hurts) removed
Action:
Learn and remember two new names at church this week.
Sample Prayer:
Father, make Discovery a house of welcome. Help us receive people as Christ received us-warmly, patiently, joyfully. Remove barriers of fear, shame, and past wounds. Give us eyes to notice newcomers and courage to take the first step. Let strangers become family. In Jesus' name, amen.
Friday, November 14 - Generosity & Provision
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6-11 (NLT)
Pray:
- Cheerful givers
- Provision for ministry needs
- Integrity and clarity in finances
Action:
Bless a missionary or local outreach with a gift.
Sample Prayer:
Provider God, make us cheerful givers who sow generously and reap for every good work. Supply what we need for ministry, and multiply the seed to bless missionaries, mercy efforts, and the poor. Keep our finances transparent and our hearts detached from greed. Let thanksgiving rise to You through our giving. Amen.
Saturday, November 15 - Rest & Renewal for Workers

- Rest for pastors and volunteers
- Healthy rhythms
- Joy in serving
Action:
Send a note of thanks to a behind-the-scenes servant.
Sample Prayer:
Jesus, we come to You for rest. Exchange our heaviness for Your easy yoke and light burden. Renew pastors, staff, and volunteers-body, mind, and spirit. Restore joy in serving and margin in schedules. Teach us unforced rhythms of grace. Amen.
Sunday, November 16 - Come, Holy Spirit

- Freedom from fear

Action:
Arrive early; pray over the room before service.
Sample Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill us again. Not by might, nor by power, but by Your presence-empower our praise, convict our hearts, and comfort the broken. Loosen tongues to sing and knees to bow. Make Jesus beautiful among us. Send us out overflowing. Amen.
Monday, November 17 - Abide

- Deeper abiding
- Fruit that remains
- Prayers aligned with Jesus
Action:
Schedule a 15-minute midday "abide break."
Sample Prayer:
Vine of life, graft me deep. Apart from You I can do nothing; in You, bear lasting fruit. Align my desires with Yours so I ask what delights Your heart. Prune what hinders love; increase what brings You glory. Let my life prove I am Your disciple. Amen.
Tuesday, November 18 - First Love
Scripture: Revelation 2:4-5 (NLT)
Pray:
- Remember/repent/return
- Joy in Jesus over performance
- Hunger for His presence
Action:
Fast one meal; use the time to worship.
Sample Prayer:
Lord, I remember the height from which I've fallen-restore my first love. I repent of apathy, hurry, and spiritual performance. Help me return to the works of love: worship, obedience, and witness. Rekindle affection for Jesus above all gifts, roles, and outcomes. Light the fire again. Amen.
Wednesday, November 19 - Holiness & Integrity

- Clean hands, pure hearts
- Freedom from hidden sin
- Courage to make amends
Action:
Confess one thing to a trusted brother/sister.
Sample Prayer:
Holy God, make me holy in all I do. Search me and reveal hidden compromise; grant courage to confess, forgive, and make amends. Let my private life honor You more than my public words. Clothe our church in humility, purity, and integrity. Keep us near the cross. Amen.
Thursday, November 20 - Freedom & Healing
Scripture: Luke 4:18-19; Galatians 5:1 (NLT)

- Break chains (addiction, anxiety, bitterness)
- Emotional/physical healing
- Re:Gen & care ministries to flourish
Action:
Share a testimony of God's freedom with someone.
Sample Prayer:
Spirit of the Lord, proclaim freedom today. Break chains of addiction, bitterness, anxiety, and despair. Heal bodies, memories, and marriages. Breathe on Re:Gen and all care ministries-make them greenhouses of grace. For freedom Christ has set us free-establish us in it. Amen.
Friday, November 21 - Love One Another

- Supernatural love in conflict
- Reconciliation where needed
- Our love to be a living witness
Action:
Reach out to someone you've avoided; take a step toward peace.
Sample Prayer:
Jesus, teach us Your new command: to love as You have loved us. Heal conflicts, soften stubbornness, and grant quick forgiveness. Make our love visible enough that the watching world recognizes Your fingerprints. Let reconciliation be our culture and unity our witness. Amen.
Saturday, November 22 - Purity of Speech

- No gossip or slander
- Truth with grace
Action:
Replace one complaint with specific gratitude.
Sample Prayer:
Lord, set a guard over my mouth. Let no corrupt talk come out, only words that build, bless, and fit the moment. Purify my heart so my speech follows. Replace sarcasm and complaint with encouragement and gratitude. May the words of my mouth please You today. Amen.
Sunday, November 23 - Eyes on Jesus

Invite someone without local family to a meal.
Sample Prayer:
Jesus, You came to seek and save the lost-make our tables Your mission field. Give us eyes for the overlooked and courage to invite. Fill conversations with grace, curiosity, and hope. Let meals become altars where Your presence is felt and Your kindness tasted. Save around our tables. Amen.
Wednesday, November 26 - Wisdom in Conversations

Action:
Pray out loud before the meal-brief, Christ-exalting.
Sample Prayer:
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all Your benefits-You forgive, heal, redeem, and satisfy. We thank You for daily mercies and eternal promises. Visit our families with peace; mend strained relationships. Draw those we love to Yourself this very day. May our gratitude honor You at the table. Amen.
Friday, November 28 - Open Doors

- Open doors no one can shut
- Favor in the city
- Partnerships with other churches for the gospel
Action:
Encourage a neighboring pastor or church with a note or DM.
Sample Prayer:
Holy and True One, You open and no one shuts. Set before Discovery open doors for the gospel-in our neighborhoods, schools, and networks. Give us favor with leaders, unity with churches, and creativity for mission. Keep us faithful with what You've given. Lead on, Lord. Amen.
Saturday, November 29 - Send Me
Scripture: Isaiah 6:1-8 (NLT)

- Fresh vision of God's holiness
- Cleansed lips
- A ready "Here am I-send me."
Action:
Take one tangible step into a new or next ministry role.
Sample Prayer:
King of glory, let me see You high and lifted up. Cleanse my lips with grace, remove my excuses, and tune my ear to Your call. When You ask, "Whom shall I send?" let my heart answer, "Here am I-send me." Assign me to Your harvest today. Amen.
Sunday, November 30 - Advent Posture: Come, Lord Jesus

- Maranatha-come, Lord
- Wakefulness and readiness
- Many to meet Jesus this December
Action:
Invite your five to the first Advent/Christmas service.
Sample Prayer:
Spirit and Bride say, "Come." Wake me from spiritual sleep; clothe me with the armor of light. Prepare our church to welcome many this Advent; let salvation spring up in our city. Come, Lord Jesus-come to save, to sanctify, to satisfy. We long for You. Amen.
